Which states does Soundry work in?▾
Soundry works with practices and providers across the country, and our billing team is distributed across the U.S. to ensure your biller has experience billing in your state and with the insurance companies that you accept.
Can your team do out-of-network billing?▾
The Soundry team does both in-network and out-of-network billing, and can assist practices with balance billing for out-of-network insurance companies.
Does your team do eligibility checks?▾
Yes, we offer full benefit checks as an add-on service for our billing customers. We do not perform standalone eligibility checks. Our customers love our benefit checks because we make sure to chase down all relevant details over the phone with the insurance companies--not just whether a patient has active coverage, but whether there are any diagnosis, pre-authorization, or referral requirements, coverage exceptions, annual visit maxes, outstanding deductibles, or any other pertinent info. This is more than most insurance portals reveal online, and ensures you have full, up-to-date information on a patient's status.
Can your team bill for workers' comp or motor vehicle (PIP) claims?▾
Soundry includes a CMS-1500 download feature that allows you to easily download a CMS-1500 form for any claim that you can use to file a claim with the payer for workers' comp or motor vehicle (PIP) claims.
Can your team bill Medicare? Medicaid? What about a specific commercial insurer?▾
The Soundry team bills all commercial insurance companies, as well as Medicare (including Medicare Advantage), Medicaid, and the VA.
I love Soundry, do you have a Customer Referral Program?▾
Yes! As a current Soundry customer, you can refer a fellow practitioner to Soundry for billing. If your referral starts billing with Soundry, you and your referral will both receive an $150 credit on your next invoice. How does the Soundry onboarding process work, is it easy?▾
Yes! We have a simple and quick process for onboarding. An onboarding specialist personally hand holds you through 3 easy steps. The goal is that you have peace of mind and there are no interruptions to your billing process.
What happens to my data if I need to cancel my account?▾
We would be very sorry to see you leave Soundry. Please reach out to us for help as we are eager to make all our customers delighted. However, we understand that circumstances can change necessitating cancellation.
If you cancel, you will continue to be able to access Soundry and file new claims until the end of your sunscription term as shown in Soundry (usually the end of your current billing monthly period). While your subscription is active, you have access to all of your client records with the ability to download or print copies of your visits. You can also download all of your patient demographic records in a single .csv file using the "download clients" tool in Settings -> Practice Settings -> Tools.
Please download all of your data before your subscription lapses. After your subscription is complete, due to our security policies you will no longer have access to the system so please plan ahead.
Does your team offer credentialing?▾
We do not perform credentialing services directly, but we collaborate with a trusted partner to support practices who are looking to get credentialed with insurance companies before using our billing services, or who are looking to credential with additional insurance companies while billing. We do not offer standalone credentialing services. If you contact us, we can put you on a waitlist for our credentialing referral partner.
